A research began about the pesticide content found in the medical and recreational marijuana after a man claimed to be poisoned after smoking. The research indicated that several distributors often leave the pesticides on the cannabis sold to the consumers. The pesticides remaining basically act as poisons because they cannot be processed by the body if inhaled. Inhalation of these pesticides is more dangerous than consuming them as they can cause liver failure, lung damage, and kidney damage. After the samples were taken, the results indicated that about 93 percent of the cannabis tested contained pesticides above the permitted levels in states that do regulate pesticides on cannabis.
This can be a serious issue to all of us because any consumer or bystander can be exposed to poisonous hydrogen cyanide gas (pesticide burns and form this gas). Personally, I do not mind the passing of the recreational marijuana proposition; however, I have my concerns about the dangers of pesticides. Besides literally poisoning us, they also play a role in contaminating some water supplies and fertile land. Basically, I am hoping for future regulations from the state of California just like the other states. I would highly encourage visiting this site, https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/myclobutanil#section=Top to know more about Myclobutanil (pesticide).
